Tom has been improvising for many years on different instruments, in many
different styles.

From playing sax/clarinet solos over Music Minus One records when he was ten
to making up his own bass lines based on a given songs chord progression to
playing an improvised solo bass guitar set at ABC No Rio in 2003and 2007. Meyer
Kupferman's Chamber Improvisation class at Sarah Lawrence College showed him that any
